There’s something about each of us which makes us unique. And it’s important to choose ourselves when making a choice of career. Choosing a career can be a difficult choice to make while choosing between two competing careers is even tougher. RJ Sayema faced a similar situation in her life. She could either take the practical decision, follow her father’s footsteps and become a lecturer at Delhi University, or she could choose to follow her heart, her dreams and become a Radio Jockey. RJ Sayema adopted the ‘follow your heart’ mantra and chose to become a Radio Jockey. A beautiful line she states is that, whenever in a dilemma to choose the voice in your mind or your heart, always choose your heart.

Also, she suggests we use our minds to get what our hearts want. RJ Sayema has been associated with Radio Mirchi since the year 2003. RJ Sayema has hosted one of the most renowned and long-running show of Radio Mirchi Delhi called Purani Jeans. Her show ‘Purani Jeans’ features retro music between the era of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Her previous ventures into radio were being a news reader at All India Radio (AIR). She is one of the most loved RJ’s in the city of Delhi today.
