From losing her husband at the age of 23 to driving herself to become a top-notch Officer of the Indian Armed Forces. Captain Shalini Singh is the wife of Lt. Major Avinash Singh Bhadauria. In 2002, she received her husband’s award of Kirti Chakra, the Second Highest Peace Time gallantry award, posthumous in uniform from President Shri APJ Abdul Kalam. Captain Shalini is also an Inspirational speaker, Skill trainer and was crowned ‘Classic Mrs. India – Queen of Substance’ in the year 2017.
