Millions of worshipers in India offer tonnes of flowers to their Gods everyday. All those flowers eventually find their way into the rivers, where the pesticides used to grow them are washed off into the water, contaminating it to dangerous levels. River Ganges, in particular, is the most polluted river in country (and the second most polluted river in the world). Ankit is the co-founder of Help Us Green — an organisation that is working to save the rivers in India from further pollution.
