Professor and Director

Known for his restrained performance in films like Margarita With A Straw & Amu, Kuljeet is the founder & Creative Director of Atelier Theatre (2004), a Delhi based theatre company. After resigning from his teaching profession from the department of English, University of Delhi in 2018, he has dedicated himself full time to theatre & performing arts. He has curated ten episodes of ACT – Campus Theatre festival by Atelier Theatre in the past successfully. These theatre festivals are meticulously designed to foster theatre activities in the Campus of the University of Delhi. Since 2007, with 10 episodes, this festival has invited more than 230 performances from different college groups, each photographed and documented. Currently, he is writing and directing HeerShakespeer, a theatre production for the world premiere at San Diego International Theatre Festival, California, USA in June 2019.
