About:

Poor quality food has been a bane for those travelling on trains in India. However, things are changing for good. TravelKhana, a Noida, NCR-based startup, is striving to ensure that train passengers get to eat the food of their liking and from restaurants of their choosing.

However, it was not easy for Pushpinder Singh to start something like Travelkhana just into the thin air. The journey from having a cushy software engineer job to becoming an entrepreneur of a food-tech startup wasn’t easy. He built a startup from scratch and made it worth a crore company. This is one of those startup success stories from which we can learn how to start a business, become an entrepreneur or how to become a successful entrepreneur.

He had to go through a lot of struggle before his startup came into incubation. Then he moved to Indian trains and Indian Railways, reaching out to IRCTC to start something that never existed in the market. Today, his idea is being adopted by various countries and is now a global market worth millions. The business idea came from scratch and became one of the successful startup stories of India.
