Afreen Khan is a full-time storyteller/poet and a part-time student. She talks about sensitive issues especially Child Sexual Abuse and is highly interested in creating awareness about it in the form of poetry. People started recognizing her when a video of her reciting a poetry in an open mic session at Tape A Tale went viral on social media. She talks about building relationships, child sexual abuse, the impact it has on a child’s mentality and future with the help of some real life hard hitting incidents and stories. She knows how to pour her heart in the stories and how to hit the conscious of the listeners. Her poetry has a lot of pain in them, one can feel the sensitivity and criticality of the situations and experiences.
